ABOUT US

TradNatura Sport is a small family company, owned and run by two Hungarian enthusiasts of old traditions, beautiful nature, and sport activities in the fresh air: Marietta Tihanyi and Peter Beck from Budapest.

We are specialised in all-inclusive, fully guided and supported, leisure cycle tours in Hungary, combined with fantastic lodgings, gourmet experiences, wine-tastings, lovely spas, sight-seeings, lots of culture, canoeing, bird-watching, and other nice surprises. We are also happy to design tailor-made bike tours, or other special holidays for your groups.

Our favourite hobby is discovering the beauties and the most special places of our countryside. We love the atmosphere of castle hotels in beautiful parks, antique buildings and towns, ancient wine cellars, tasting fine wines and food, cycling on hidden paths in peaceful forests, watching birds on idyllic river arms, or swimming in beautiful lakes, and even more we love showing all these to you!

Our company is like a small workshop, where all our tours are “hand-made” by two of us, and results of our very careful research. We explore all the tours, and check every details personally, to select the nicest routes, sights, hotels, restaurants, and the finest local specialities and wines of our regions.
We lead all our bike tours ourselves (one of us cycling with you, and one of us driving our support bus), because we would like to ensure that you will have the most enjoyable cycle holidays in Hungary with outstanding comfort and our best personal service, hoping that you will feel like our friend or a member of our family.

Marietta is the chef who makes the delicious picnics, she can always tell you an interesting story of our history, and she is the expert of selecting (and sampling...) the best wines. Peter is the tour designer, navigator, bike mechanic, and the photographer for our web-site. So, if you will see somebody on our tours, who appears suddenly from unexpected places with his camera, it will be probably himself...

We started to work in the travel business in 1979. After leading many cycle tours in Hungary throughout the last decades, we launched our first bicycle tours in 2006, and in the next years we are going to make more programs showing other nice areas of Hungary as well.
